Rita’s Commitment to Practice:
As a registered and licensed occupational therapist, Rita is committed to her profession’s goal in providing the optimal level of quality of care while facilitating the highest level of function and learning. This includes teaching others to understand the unique sensory processing of each child to better understand the child’s learning style and to facilitate learning and development. Another main objective is promote awareness and understanding about sensory integration and its impact on children with (and without) learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, autism, and pervasive developmental disorder. Rita is committed to making a positive difference in every child’s life.

Sarah Rualo
Education:  Graduated from Towson University , BS in Psychology in 2001 and a MS in Occupational Therapy in 2007.
Attributes:  Highly knowledgeable in child development; intuitive, nurturing and takes a fun-loving approach working with children, an excellent communicator, listener with both children and their families; passionate about making a difference in a child's life.
Past Experience:  OTR with Union Memorial Hospital from 01/08 - 05/08.  Interned at Baltimore County Infants and Toddlers, Joppa View Elementary School, University Medical Center (neuro ICU), Bay View Hospital (psych) and Mosaic New Ventures Mental Health Day Center.

Other Experience:  Worked in the field of Psychology prior to becoming an OTR/L, worked at The Good Shpherd Center with teenage girls with behavioral and emotional problems and worked as a one on one behavioral aid with a child with Autism.
Kelly Strub
Education:  Graduated from Towson University, Master of Science, Occupational Therapy, in 2002.

Attending DIR Summer Institute.
Other Experience:  Background in health research and community health outreach prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist.  taught English as a foreign language for three years in the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Nicole Trifold
Education:  Graduated with a BS in Kinesiology and Minor in Psychology in 2002 and completed her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2005.

Other Experience:
  Has experience working with children who have various diagnoses of Autism, ADHD, PDD, Down's Syndrome, and Emotional disorders.  As well as working at the practice, Nicole works at The Harbor School with children ages 10-21.  Her passion is helping children grow to their full capacity.
Beth E. Szczybor
Education:  Graduated from Towson University, Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Occupational Therapy.
Attributes:  Happily married for 21 years and has had on the job experience in child development while raising her 3 children ages.  Beth enjoys reading, bicycling, running, baking and teaching Sunday School at her Parish to 4 and 5 year olds.
Past Experience:  John Hopkins Hospital, The Forbush School, The Norbel School, as well as Internships as an OT in Nursing Homes, Balt. Co. Public Schools, and the Infants and Toddlers Program.  Beth also helped to set up a Sensory-Motor room in an orphanage in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2005.
Continuing Education: 
Certification in the use of Therapeutic Listening and Samonas Auditory processing protocols.  The Alert Program for Self Regulation in Children.  Various Handwriting Interventions.
Cortney Greenwell
Education:  Graduated from Villa Julie College 08' with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.
Attributes:  Cortney works with children of all ages with typical and atypical development.  Cortney demonstrates a passion that is sincere and fulfilling in her approach to help children feel successful and confident.
Although she has been with us for a short time, Cortney demonstrates a high level of competency and skills, and compassion in her work.
Past Experience:  Camp Counselor at Recreation and Parks Therapeutic Summer Camp at Camp Mayo.  Teachers Aide for Pre School at London Towne Academy.  Teachers Asst. for Central Special Education School in Mayo working the ESY summer program.
Continuing Education:
  Currently taking courses at Anne Arundel Community College for graduate school in Occupational Therapy.  Attended seminars including "Bridging the Gap" (Sensory Dysfunction),  Sensory Integration and Sensory Processing Disorder.
Cindy Murren COTA
Education: 1983: Quinsigamond Community College, Worcester, Ma.
Associate of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy
Attributes: Caring, warm hearted, dedicated, strong work ethic and professional standards.  Passionate and enjoys working with children and making a difference in each child’s life.  Married 27 years with 2 children and 1 dog.
Therapy Solutions for Children: Since April 2007
Past Experience: Worked for 15 years in various settings around the country before settling in MD and focusing on a career path involving children. Employed for 8 years in a nonpublic school for learning disabled children with diagnoses including- autism, PDD, aspergers, ADD/ADHD, downs syndrome, bi-polar disorder.
Continuing Education: I have attended 24 conferences related to sensory processing, autism, and the treatment of children including training in – Brain Gym 101, The Alert Program for Self-Regulation, and Handwriting Without Tears
Megan Tiralla
Education:  Bachelor's Degree from Salisbury University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Spanish.
Attributes:  Megan demonstrates a sincere drive, compassion, and talent for working with children with special needs. She has a unique, tender and playful manner which parents repeatedly report have won over their children's hearts.
